In a study, Blackbaud found clickthrough rates in nonprofit email campaigns had declined by 18.7%. The non-profit industry is saturated. With non-specific email campaigns there is a natural decrease in response rates. 

However, this does not mean all fundraising efforts do not have personalization. The study has provided insight to the improvement of our communication with donors.
